Disney characters are known to bring so much joy and dreams to their viewers and fans. I mean, have you seen the parades in any of the Disneyland franchise? The actors look so much like the Disney characters they dress up as.
Kids would squeal in happiness over seeing Elsa from Frozen or Cinderella or Rapunzel. Even parents would get fooled if they didn’t know any better. Actually, the adults are more curious about what Disney characters would look like if they lived in our world. Kids wouldn’t care because their existence in the cartoon world is more than enough for their hearts to thrive on.
In case you are one of the many, like me, who are curious, this is what they would look like in our world.
Rapunzel from Tangled
Rapunzel would be one of the few Disney characters that would blend in the real world just fine. She has that usual white girl beauty you can’t resist to be attracted to. If she were in high school, the popular crowd would want her for sure.
Elsa from Frozen
Elsa looks like the sweet yet super popular college girl in this depiction. The flesh and nude colors of her style are very becoming which gives you the impression that she’s the type of friend your parents would trust to be a good influence on you.
Ana from Frozen
In contrast to her sister, Elsa, Ana looks more like the perky and super fun girl. The bold colors and the red hair makes her look like she can be good and up to no good at the same time. In retrospect, that is what Ana is like in the movie. How’d you think she got Elsa to use her ice powers to play with her?
Merida from Brave
Merida looks like she’s in a girl band. The unruly red locks, tattered shorts and loose statement t-shirt screams rock or punk rock. Nevertheless, I do not have any complaints in the way she’s styled. If I had her hair, I would probably rock the same style. Dang, now I wish these Disney characters are for real all the more!
Hans from Frozen
I was not a fan of Hans in the movie but this Hans is super dapper. The suit automatically takes me back to the 20s or 30s where chivalry was not dead. I can imagine him holding his top hat in the other hand, opening doors for parasol-holding ladies and driving an old convertible.
Jack Frost from The Guardians
This is the guy I would want to date! Someone who can wear suits on a regular basis without looking like a sore thumb and then go super casual and familiar in a button down shirt. And, imagine if that someone came with Chris Pine’s voice! Be still, my beating heart!
Flynn Rider from Tangled
Now, the looks more like a Flynn Rider here than a Eugene. He looks fresh out of LA and boy, that goatee cannot look any better! Don’t you get the rich kid/ bad boy feel from this picture? I swear the girl creating these “real-life” Disney characters is born with a gift!
Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon
Astrid looked really good in her Viking armor when she was younger. If she grew up in the real world, she’d pull off this NY girl look with ease. She doesn’t even have to lose the braids or the headpiece. They’re both so in trend right now!
Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon
Oh my gosh. Seeing Astrid in that outfit and Hiccup in this outfit reminds me of Gossip Girl. Serena and Dan as Disney characters! Hiccup was already a nerd in the movie so it would only be fitting to make him one in “real-life” too – just a lot hotter. Astrid will not know what hit her.
So, how do I get in contact with Disney to ask them if they can make a crossover film with all of these Disney characters involved and dressed like this?
Disney films have been such a huge part of my childhood and I don’t think I’ll ever grow out of it. I will still be able to recite the lines from Mulan and sing almost all of the songs I like. I know it’s the same for many grown adults.
But, alas, Disney is just a magical world where dreams are temporal reality. Still, we can’t help and love our favorite Disney characters!
