Who says pink is for girls - Adorable boys outfits that will make you re-think fashion
www.pepperhive.com

Long has it been since the color pink has been bestowed an official girly color and was a no-no in boys outfits.

Red, on the other hand, is unisex because it represents feminine sultriness and a masculine power for the men.

But as time has changed, so has trend and fashion. It has become more versatile, more lenient and more expressive.

Women are now wearing boyfriend pants; men styled shoes, oversized long sleeved polo, and trousers. Men are now wearing more floral prints, pastel colors, and skinny jeans.

And it’s no surprise that toddlers are beating grown fashionistas in the game of dress up. They have the natural cuteness as an edge.

Looking back, babies and toddlers have always been dressed color coded based on their gender. Girls wear pink or purple, and boy wears blue or green.

Well, my dear moms, gone are the days of gender color coding and here are the days of mixing and matching.

Check out these cute boys dressed in red and yes, pink.

Red or pink plaid shirts? Yes, please!

Red and pink are no longer colors only for girls. Boys wear them as well as we do. A lot of times, they make it look sexy whereas we make it look cute and girly.

Fashion isn’t about gender or color. It’s about how you want people to see you when you dress. It’s a statement of your character. It isn’t the guys fault they look good in pink. Doesn’t make them any less manly. Just as girls wearing blue or green, it doesn’t make us any less feminine.

I do not like pink or any bright color for that matter, but I adore some of these outfit suggestions. They’re handsome in a little man way. I’d be up for dressing a boy in these colors but maybe not so much for my man.

Then again, it’s a personal preference. If your son can rock the color, why not?
