Perfect Vegan Party Food Ideas
Healthy Taco Dip
- 2 cups of guacamole
- 1 cup of cooked black beans
- 2 red bell peppers
- 2 green onions
- 2 cups of lettuce
- ½ cup of tomato salsa
- ½ cup of vegan nacho cheese
- ½ cup of black olives
- A few fresh cilantro leaves
- Juice of half a lime
- Tortilla chips
Step #1: Start by preparing the vegetables, wash them thoroughly and then chop them.
Step #2: Get a glass bowl and start layering. First, use the guacamole, put it on the bottom, and then continue layer by layer of black beans, bell peppers, green onion, and lettuce.
Step #3: After you finish, it’s time to put the toppings; salsa, vegan nacho cheese sauce, olives, and cilantro.
Step #4: Don’t forget to drizzle with some fresh lime juice at the end.
Step #5: Serve with tortilla chips and some veggies.
Homemade Tortilla Chips
- 1 1/2 cups of vegetable oil
- 12 corn tortillas
- Pinch of salt
Step #1: Cut the tortillas into small pieces. We usually cut it into 6 wedges.
Step #2: Choose the best deep-frying pan you have. A few years ago we started using a large cast iron pan and the taste and quality of our food changed radically.
Step #3: Turn on the stove, put oil in a pan, and heat it to 350 F degrees.
Step #4: Add the tortillas, but not too many at once because you risk them sticking to each other.
Step #5: They will need up to 2 minutes of frying on each side until golden brown.
Step #6: Take them out and place them on paper towels.
Step #7: Season with salt while they are still hot.
Full-Fed Potato Salad
- 6 potatoes
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1/8 cup red onion
- 1 whole scallion green onion
- 1 tablespoon of parsley
- 1 cup vegan mayo
- Up to 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon of celery seed
- Spices to taste
Step #1: Slice the potatoes, ideally bite-sized.
Step #2: Take a saucepan, fill it with water and cook the potatoes in it.
Step #3: During this time, prepare the other ingredients from which you will make this super tasty salad.
Step #4: Cut the rest of the vegetables into small pieces.
Step #5: Prepare the dressing by mixing vegan mayo, vinegar, salt, pepper, and celery seed in a clean bowl.
Step #5: In a special bowl of the appropriate size, add potatoes, vegetables, and herbs, as well as the indispensable homemade salad dressing, and that’s it, it’s ready to serve!
Delicious Clotted Cream
- ¼ cup of vegan butter
- ½ cup of icing sugar
- 6 tablespoons of coconut cream
Step #1: Beat the vegan butter and sugar with a mixer for a few minutes, that is, until you have a buttercream.
Step #2: Add the coconut cream, but little by little. Whisk until you get a nice, fluffy cream with no lumps.
Step #3: Leave it in the fridge for a few hours to set.
*Goes great with scones.
