Instead of going back and forth to every part of the house’s kitchen and afternoon social hours on the patio, all essentials to the barbecue cook are in one area.

As I was planning my outdoor kitchen, the first thing that struck me was the positioning. I had a vision where the kitchen was an extension of the whole outdoor patio as if all the elements went together.
That way, the one who cooks is not insulated from the action whilst the guests do not have to walk up and down between the seating area and the cooking space easily.
Another vital factor that I thought about was shelter. Depending on the season and geographical location, a lot of different outdoor kitchens will have to live through quite a lot of extremes.
A roof of some sort – be it a patio awning or a gazebo, for example – could do a lot to protect your appliances and allow the space to be used in less than pleasant weather.

The first and most important, though, is that their kitchen blends in well with the rest of the pictures of backyard patio designs with decorations.

In addition, I placed here and there some of the plants I like the most to soften the design and add a little bit of a natural touch on it.
Another great thing I love about outdoor kitchens is that they can be as personalized as any other part of your home.
Whether you prefer clean straight lines and a contemporary modern look or you love the feel of a country home, one can achieve that feel in their space.

There’s no doubt about it- backyard kitchen and bar has changed the way I occupy my outdoor space.
Now this place is the best for many things: simple family dinners, great family holidays and parties, and I cannot picture it in another way.
