baby spa

Baby spa? I’ve never heard of such a thing until now. I asked myself, “What do they do there? Do they get massages? Sauna? Facials?”. If this is your first time hearing about a baby spa, you’re probably wondering the same thing.

Baby Spa Perth is one of the first in Australia but apparently, England, Spain and South Africa have them, too.

Baby Spa Perth offers two major services – hydrotherapy and infant massage. Hydrotherapy is said to be good physical therapy for growing babies and prepares them for infant swimming lessons which are also highly recommended nowadays.

How do they do it, you ask? Scroll down and see what a baby spa is like.

Baby Spa is the New Baby Craze

Baby Spa Perth is the pioneer branch for Australia and was founded by Laura Sevenus. Baby spa is all about hydrotherapy, infant massage and support for moms.

Just look at that face! It’s clear that he’s enjoying the water! Hydrotherapy is a great way to help your baby relax and learn motor skills.

They help the infants stay afloat with their very own patented innovation called BUBBY. It’s secure and conducive to a baby’s health so worries about it giving out are basically reduced to zero.

The BUBBY allows the babies to make movements in the water they’re not usually capable of on their own at that age. It allows them to get enough simulation to allow sensory development.

The establishment is one of the few places where mom and baby can both relax at the same time. The spa is staffed with trained massage therapist and caregivers which give you the assurance that your baby is in good hands.

Co-director, Kuvita Kumar, and small business owner, Anita Yap, are both licensed Infant Massage Therapist. Founder, Laura Sevenus, made sure all her staff have the right training to accommodate babies in a safe environment.

Adults enjoy massages like girls PMS-ing enjoy dark chocolate. Well, surprise, surprise! Baby’s love massages, too! ;)

Even babies with physical development difficulty are recommended for hydrotherapy sessions to help them get stronger ever session.

I don’t know if babies get stressed a lot but these two certainly look like they don’t have a care in the world. They’re happy just being pampered by grown-ups!

Most massage therapists would never get that kind of pure genuine happiness from their adult clients. The therapists get them all the time! Maybe that’s why they love their job so much.

The spa also has programs for moms-to-be and new moms. They offer yoga sessions and provide great professional support group for moms-to-be and new moms.

Infant baby massage classes are also on the menu! They believe it’s a great way for mother’s to connect with their babies physically, emotionally and spiritually. And, I think they’re right.

All in all, babies come out of The Baby Spa extremely happy!

So do the moms!

And the staff, too!

So, are you hoping to get one of these in your area? Maybe you can think of franchising one? ;)

Well, if you’re in the Perth area, head on to The Baby Spa Perth and treat your babe to a day of pampering and relaxation! Seeing him all relaxed might just be what you need, too!

Have a happy spa day!
